little black box

I got yet another non-computer Apple product yesterday, an iPhone 3G. My Blackberry died and faced with the option of getting another one for $100 or getting an iPhone for $200, I opted for the latter.

Some of the advantages of the iPhone are:
  • It's awesome
  • The internet is fast
  • It's very easy to use and figure out
  • Google Maps + GPS = Never get lost
  • The ringtones aren't obnoxious (most of them)
  • 8 GB iPod
  • 2 megapixel camera that takes decent pictures
  • Quick e-mail set up
The disadvantages:
  • The battery is terrible. I've never had a phone that had such a short battery life right out of the box. Buying a car charger is probably inevitable.
  • It doesn't have Blackberry Messenger and I'll have to find a new way to communicate with Jason Clotfelter.

Overall, I really like it.

Also, I was going to write a post about my first week at A Bryan Photo, which also happened to be the week of the company retreat. But, I ended up writing one with Bryan for the company blog. So, if you care, you can check it out here... Our Retreat
